Pain Managment
If you have been struggling with pain for more than 12 weeks, many services can help.
Long-term pain has many causes, such as arthritis, back problems, an old injury, illness or nerve damage.
Your first stop should be a GP so you can discuss your pain in all its forms.

The women supported by Period Poverty have enough to deal with without worrying about whether their pads are ‘safe’ for use. That’s why the pads they donate are made from natural ingredients only – free from harmful chemicals that can exist in some sanitary products on the market.

For those living with a chronic pain condition or health concerns, keeping on top of and managing your daily symptoms, medications, and upcoming appointments can be exhausting in itself.

Breathing Space
Breathing Space is here in difficult times to provide a safe and supportive space by listening, offering advice and providing information. It is their belief and hopes that by empowering people, they will have the resources to recover. It is a free, confidential phone service for anyone in Scotland over 16 experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind believes no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They will listen, give you support and advice, and fight your corner. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Around since 1923, SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity. Today, in over 60 communities they work with adults and young people providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others. They are the nation’s leading patient-focused fertility charity and are here on a practical and emotional level whatever your experience of fertility issues to offer support services, information and access to a community of people affected by fertility problems.
They can help: if you are considering your future fertility; if you are trying to become parents; if you are facing the challenges of childlessness; if you are successful after fertility problems and if you need help to access NHS-funded fertility treatment.
Anger
There are groups who can help if you're struggling more often than not with anger. Anger can be hard to understand and the NHS have put together a survey that can help you understand how your feeling.

I'm Mari Gallagher and I'm a Complementary Therapist with a working knowledge of Relaxation Therapy and Stress Management, and a passionate interest in all things menopausal.
Together we have decades of experience in health and wellbeing and most importantly we're both menopausal women.
